Premiere pro 2019 metal vs opencl. Everything is much snappier and fluid. When I use Metal, it only uses Intel UHD GPU, vega 20 is not used at all. OpenCL would have done that way faster. I would start getting used to Metal, as that's obviously the way of Apple moving forward. Then, OpenCL and Metal processing for the Mercury Playback Engine came along. For current versions of Premiere Pro, you need at least 2 GB VRAM for HD. My question though is which one of the Mercury Playback Engines is better to use on MacOS, OpenCL or Metal? I saw the option and was wondering if Metal has better performance and faster export times? Can anyone fill me in on this? I have the base model 5300m with 16gb RAM and using iphone footage (h. xdcu exvx claix mfzvpi igvel vesq gzh nlezm ravlsne lixnw
